Team Atlanta won the final round of DARPA AI Cyber Challenge (AIxCC), demonstrating the potential of AI-driven vulnerability discovery and repair. This session introduces the technical foundations behind the teams success and discusses how those ideas evolved into Microsoft MDASH. We share practical experiences applying LLMs and program analysis techniques to vulnerability research at scale, along with key lessons learned from building AI-powered security systems.
